Jumping In!

Hello friends and awesome people who I know will support me, even if it is just saying, "GO FOR IT!!"

Some of you may already know about this, others have not heard. I am working on a personal photography project that is meant to help us think about the lies and issues we can come to believe about marriage. I have been working on the first series since Dec. The day is coming when I will be doing the shot. The big day is set for May 21st and the rain date is May 28th. It will be on location in the Riner, Childress area in a building that used to be a store. I will need a few people to help assist with set up and lighting so I can stay behind the camera. I also would love to find some who can help with hair and makeup for both models; one male and one female. It should be fun. There are going to be power tools involved and exploding balls with keys!!! This first in the Marriage Project series is focused on the lie that marriage is a ball and chain. I am so so excited, but I do need help. I can't do this alone. I will need someone to watch the kiddos so that Joe will be freed up to help as well. The models are coming down from Lynchburg.
Lile Sizemore has been helping me with set design and costumes. She has been a great supporter. I am sad it took so long and she will be gone for the shot, but excited she will be helping with photo selection and editing.

Cleaning out the location!

Yesterday my family went out to the location and started cleaning up. I was so pleased once we got almost everything moved. This is the perfect location for the shoot. After looking and hunting I am so blessed to have found a place about 10min away. It has so much dimension which so many of the other locations lacked. I am so excited.

Love involving my family. My son Caedmon.

Here are some pictures from the location yesterday evening. It's really dark in there. I just used available light yesterday which resulted in high ISO and a little camera shake. I am excited about what it will become! I will be taking some lights and reflectors out there next week before the shoot!
